Our Program

The Dutch Fork Band has been in existence since 1992 when Dutch Fork High School opened its doors. The band is under the direction of Mr. Joseph Miller. The Silver Spirit Band has six ensembles to participate in including two Concert Bands, Percussion Ensembles, Marching Band, Winter Guard, and Jazz Band.

 

Our bands have earned consistent Superior Ratings at South Carolina's adjucated events. We have many students audition and participate in the Region and All-State Bands each year and numerous students earn Superior Ratings at Solo & Ensemble events.  The Band has consistently earned the South Carolina's Band Director's Association Outstanding Performance Award.

 

The Dutch Fork High School Silver Spirit Marching Band competes in class AAAA.
