Bailey Johnson - Visual Director

 

Bailey Johnson is a native of Irmo, South Carolina and is a general music teacher at Riverbank Elementary School in Lexington School District Two. She graduated with Leadership Distinction from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Music in Music Education and has earned a Masters of Music in Music Education degree from Eastern Washington University .

Ms. Johnson was a member of the Madison Scouts Drum and Bugle Corps as part of the first group of non-male members during the 2021 season. Since then, she has worked as the Madison Scouts Uniform manager during the summer. She currently plays horn in “The Carolina Winds” under the direction of Tim Franklin. Ms. Johnson also leads a drum club called “The Riverbank Rhythm Section” at her school.

Outside of teaching, Ms. Johnson loves going to the gym and spending time with her three-legged dog, Scout.
