High School band programs throughout the country receive varying amounts of support from their school districts. The Dutch Fork Band is fortunate to be well supported by School District Five, but there are still many needs that parents and the community can help with - and the Dutch Fork Band Boosters is the organization dedicated to making sure resources are available to our band members! Here are a few things we've been doing for over three decades!

Provide trailers and the band semi trailer for competitions.

The DF Band Boosters coordinates volunteers for the many activities of the band:
Arrange for Chaperones for games, competitions and field trips
We feed the band during competition trips
Concessions
Concessions
Our largest fundraiser is operating the "Snack Shack" at home football games. We have operated this concession stand for over a decade, and feed both the fans and our band members after half time. The Band Boosters coordinates purchasing the and preparing food, staffing the concession stand, and all other facets of operating what is essentially a small restaurant on a handful of Friday nights during the football season.

Fundraising
Fundraising
The DF Band Boosters coordinates fundraising efforts, so that money is available for band operations. Past fundraisers include chocolate bar sales, boston butt sales, sales of fruit, and many more.
