Bailey Johnson - Visual Instructor

Ms. Bailey Johnson is beginning her first year of teaching as a General Music Teacher at Riverbank Elementary School in Lexington School District Two. Originally from Gilbert, SC, Ms. Johnson graduated with Leadership Distinction from the University of South Carolina in 2021 with a Bachelor of Music in Music Education. She is currently pursuing a Masters of Music in Music Education through Eastern Washington University.

While at UofSC, Ms. Johnson was a member of the Symphonic Winds, University Band, Swing Shift Big Band, Palmetto Pans Steel Band, Women’s Chorus, and the Carolina Band. Additionally, Ms. Johnson was a member of the Madison Scouts Drum and Bugle Corps as part of the first group of non-male members during the 2021 season. Outside of teaching, Ms. Johnson loves going to the gym and spending time with her three-legged dog, Scout.
